Eshu stands at every crossroad and doorway, trickster and translator between gods and mortals; to dream of him is to arrive at a choice where the messenger's mischief hides a lesson you asked for without knowing.

No prayer reaches the gods and no blessing returns unless Eshu carries it; feed him first at the door, or watch the message go astray.
