The cookies we use
Two small first-party cookies, both optional-friendly: one remembers your chosen language (md_locale); one holds an anonymous, random visit counter and your timezone offset (md_visitor) so the dream can gently vary for returning visitors. No name, email, or location — just a random id and a number. If you choose “Essential only,” the visit counter is never set.
What we measure
Aggregate, anonymous signals about how the experience is used — which worlds appear, roughly when, and whether people drift off to sleep — so we can make it calmer. It cannot identify you.
Your control
Clear your browser cookies at any time to reset everything. Declining the notice keeps the site fully working; you simply won’t be recognised as a returning visitor.
