Anu

the sky father, most high and distant

aether

Anu is the highest heaven itself, the far calm dome above every other god, so lofty he rarely stoops to the affairs of earth; to dream of him is to sense the great overarching order and your small, cherished place beneath it.

Fragments

So remote is his throne that whole ages pass without his notice, yet a word from his mouth confers or strips the kingship of heaven as easily as breath.

His name is written with a single star, for he is the sky's own crown, and when the gods must judge a matter they climb to his court above the highest cloud.
