Dreaming of birds

Birds in dreams are the mind made visible: thoughts taking wing, messages arriving, the soul's wish for a higher perch. A flock can mean scattered attention; a single bird, one persistent thought; a caged bird, a voice or freedom being held in.

Ravens fly the world and whisper everything back to the all-father; the battle goddess wears a crow's shape; the feathered serpent joins bird and earth in one body. If birds visit your sleep, ask what message keeps circling, waiting for you to look up.

Dream meanings are reflective, not medical or predictive. If a dream troubles you often, be gentle with yourself — and talk to someone you trust.
