The Dagda

the good god, lord of the cauldron

earth

The Dagda carries a club that both kills and revives and a cauldron from which no one leaves unfed; to dream of him is to be invited to a plenty so vast that your fear of not having enough quietly loosens its grip.

Fragments

His cauldron is the size of a lake and never runs dry; every guest who comes hungry goes away filled, and still there is more.

He plays a harp that walks to him across the hall on its own, and at his summons the seasons themselves turn in their proper order.
