Dreaming of darkness

To dream of darkness is to stand before what you cannot see: a future unwritten, a truth unexamined, a part of yourself kept offstage. Fear in the dark is natural; but dark is also where seeds germinate and sleep restores.

Night is a goddess, old and motherly, and the dark gods are keepers of mystery rather than evil — even the fierce queller of demons walks the dark so you don't have to fear it. If darkness fills your dream, ask what it's hiding for you, not from you.
